About the Founder

Pastry Chef Tina, founder and owner of De Lumiere Pastry, went to Le cordon bleu Culinary of Art located in California, USA.

She completed her internship at Bouchon Bakery, LA. After gaining experience in the large industry, she moved to Northern Virginia to work as Pastry Sous Chef for Chef Anthony Chavez, the award winner of best pastry chef in DC, 2010. Following the unexpected closure of Layered Cake Pâtisserie, Chef Tina became the pastry Chef of 2941 Restaurant under the supervision of Executive Chef, Bertrand Chemel. 2941 became the best Restaurant in NOVA according to Northern Virginia magazine.
